KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: The Criminal Court has decided to release former MP Shuaib Al-Muwaizri on bail of 1,000 dinars and to reopen the pleadings during the session on December 25. This decision follows Al-Muwaizri's return to Kuwait two days ago, where he underwent a fingerprinting process at Kuwait International Airport.
Al-Muwaizri faces charges of publishing and broadcasting false news regarding biometric fingerprints, which he has denied. The court had initially reserved the case for a ruling today due to Al-Muwaizri's absence from the country. However, with his return, the court has now decided to reopen the pleadings.
