KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: The Criminal Court has scheduled the trial of former MPs and social media users accused of spreading false information and damaging the country’s national interests for November 11. The case pertains to the ban on Shuaib Al-Muwaizri from entering the country.
The list of former MPs facing trial includes Bader Al-Dahoum, Adel Al-Damkhi, Hamad Al-Alyan, Hamad Al-Mudlaj, Khaled Al-Mones, Salem Al-Namlan, Osama Al-Zaid, Shuaib Shaaban, Falah Al-Hajri, Mohammed Haif, Mohammed Hayat, Muslim Al-Barrak, Saud Al-Asfour, Mohammed Al-Dosari, and Mohammed Al-Raqeeb.
The Public Prosecution had released the accused on bail and imposed a travel ban on them before referring the case to the Criminal Court.
