KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: As part of ongoing security efforts to combat drug-related crimes, the Capital Rescue Patrols arrested an expatriate found in possession of five sachets containing a transparent white substance, suspected to be the drug “Crystal Meth.” The arrest occurred during a routine patrol in the area under their jurisdiction, where the officers noticed the suspect’s suspicious behavior. Upon stopping him and verifying his identity, they discovered that his residency permit had expired, prompting a precautionary search. The search led to the discovery of the illegal substances in his possession. The suspect was immediately taken into custody, and the seized drugs were handed over to the General Department for Drug Control for further investigation and legal action.
