Civil Service Commission Chairman Dr. Essam Al-Rubaian

RABAT, Morocco, Nov 14:  Dr. Essam Al-Rubaian, Chairman of the Kuwaiti Civil Service Commission (CSC), highlighted the critical role of information technology in advancing and modernizing administrative processes across Arab countries to address contemporary challenges.

Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday, Al-Rubaian made these remarks following his leadership of the Kuwaiti delegation at the 118th session of the Executive Council of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), held in Rabat, Morocco, from November 11 to 13.

During the session, discussions centered on several proposals focused on improving and modernizing administration in the Arab world, with a particular emphasis on utilizing information technology. One significant proposal addressed during the meeting was the governance of the management of the strategic plan for digital transformation (2023-2027). The plan's initiatives and projects were also reviewed, with Al-Rubaian noting their importance in building capacities, enhancing performance, and achieving the intended outcomes.

Al-Rubaian commended the Arab Administrative Development Organization for its efforts in fostering effective administrative practices throughout the region. He praised the organization's work in improving services for beneficiaries, enhancing performance through digital transformation, and boosting the efficiency of human resources in administrative fields.

The Arab Administrative Development Organization, founded in 1961 as one of the specialized bodies under the League of Arab States, aims to promote administrative development in Arab countries to support comprehensive development goals. Its services extend not only to the governments of the 22 member Arab states but also to businesses and the private sector. (KUNA)
