Civil Service Commission nominates 752 citizens for government roles in engineering fields

KUWAIT CITY, July 25: The Civil Service Commission has announced the nomination of 752 citizens for various government roles, including those with Bachelor’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. This marks a significant step in addressing past delays in employment for these specialized fields.

In a press statement, the Commission revealed that it has nominated all registrants from previous periods with degrees in Petroleum Engineering. Today’s announcement includes 220 individuals with Bachelor’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering, alongside 344 nominees with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Industrial Engineering.

This batch, described as the first of several, aims to address the backlog of registrants from engineering disciplines that were previously underutilized. The newly created positions include Contracts Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Project Engineer, and Safety Engineer.

The Commission emphasized that this is an ongoing process and future batches will be announced based on the evolving needs of government agencies for these specialized roles.
