CSC to end contracts for expat consultants aged 60+

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: The Council of Ministers, through the Civil Service Commission, has decided not to renew the contracts of expatriate consultants in state institutions who are 60 years and above, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a government source.

According to the source, the CSC has determined that the final working day for these expatriate consultants in government agencies will be March 31, 2025.

The source emphasized that no exceptions will be made regarding pensions or bonuses, which are currently suspended.

However, the meetings are planned to discuss new mechanisms and amendments related to exceptional pensions, with approval pending coordination with the relevant authorities.
