Customs officer, drug dealer get life-term; guns pointed at police

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10: The Criminal Court sentenced an inspector at the General Administration for Customs and a Bedoun drug dealer to life imprisonment for aiming their guns at officers from the Drugs Control General Department before their arrest in a stable in Kabad. Meanwhile, the court sentenced a Syrian expatriate to 17 years in prison for smuggling and trafficking 27 kilograms of hashish and alcohol, using psychotropic substances, and possessing weapons and ammunition.
