The kitchen in shambles after the explosion
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: Firefighters from Kuwait City and Al-Hilali stations battled a fire that razed a restaurant in Mubarakiya following a gas cylinder explosion.Public Relations and Media Department stated paramedics rushed the only person who was injured in the fire to a hospital for treatment when officers in charge at the Operations Room dispatched firemen to the scene after receiving report around 9:54 am concerning the incident.Initial investigation revealed the fire was due to gas cylinder explosion, and the officers managed to control the flames and prevent it from spreading to neighboring structures. Investigation is underway to unravel direct and remote causes of the incident.By Munaif Nayef Al-Seyassah Staff
