KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: The General Authority for Roads and Land Transport has announced the reopening of the Abdul Razzaq Gate intersection in the East area on Saturday, following the completion of repairs to address previous engineering defects at the site.
According to the Roads Department, the decision to reopen the intersection was made in coordination with the General Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior. This marks the project's first phase, with the tunnel designated for pedestrian crossings scheduled to open later as part of the second phase.
The Roads and Transport Authority extended its heartfelt gratitude to Sheikh Ahmad Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Government Performance Follow-up Agency, and the Commercial Bank of Kuwait for their support, which was instrumental in completing the works at Abdul Razzaq Gate.
