KUWAIT CITY, Jul 25: Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali, the Governor of the Capital, lauded the significant efforts by security forces in apprehending residency law violators and wanted individuals. At dawn security operation took place in the Khaitan area, a coordinated effort between the Residency Affairs Investigations and Special Forces, led by Major General Abdullah Safah.

The Governor also oversaw an inspection campaign in the Bneid Al-Qar area, accompanied by Brigadier General Suleiman Al-Jarrah, the Director of the Capital Security Directorate, along with several security leaders and personnel.

He emphasized that this surprise inspection is one of many such operations conducted across all governorates, under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef.

Governor Al-Ali praised the roles of the security directorates, police departments, and traffic departments, noting that their daily operations result in numerous arrests of law violators, who are then processed according to the law and referred to the appropriate authorities for necessary actions, including deportation.

The Ministry of Interior has resumed its crackdown on residency violators, following a brief suspension at the start of Muharram to focus on securing Husseini councils during Ashura nights.

In the latest operation, the Khaitan area was targeted in a security sweep, again led by Major General Abdullah Safah. This operation led to the arrest of 30 individuals for various violations, including expired residency permits, absconding, expired visit visas, and lack of proper identification. Those apprehended have been handed over to the competent authorities for legal proceedings.

A security source informed Al-Rai that the Ministry of Interior's campaigns will continue across the country, ensuring no violator evades the law. The Ministry plans to intensify these operations in the coming days, implementing a stringent security strategy to apprehend the maximum number of violators. These campaigns will occur at varying times, both morning and evening, in locations chosen for their element of surprise.
