KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have opened an investigation to find out the details of the death of a citizen who was in custody of the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC), reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily has learned from an informed source that the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the health condition of one of the suspects in the drugs case who was in custody of the GDDC. When help was rushed to the man, medical staff discovered the man had already breathed his last and his remains were referred to the Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. According to sources the CID men are looking into the causes of the death which can be determined only after the Forensics issues its report
