KUWAIT CITY, Dec 29: Decree No. 217 of 2024 was issued to withdraw Kuwaiti citizenship from some individuals in the official newspaper “Kuwait Today” today, Sunday.
The decree included the names of 2,087 women whose Kuwaiti citizenship was revoked, as well as those who had acquired it through their dependence, based on Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 on the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amending laws, and based on the presentation of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
