Court of Cassation upholds 20-year and 15-year sentences in fatal Al-Subiya Road attack resulting in a citizen's death.
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: The Court of Cassation has upheld the Court of Appeal’s decision in a high-profile case involving a fatal vehicular attack. The ruling sentenced the first defendant to 20 years in prison and the second defendant to 15 years for the murder of a citizen.
The case centered on an incident that occurred on Al-Subiya Road, where the defendants aggressively pursued the victim’s vehicle despite his attempts to escape in the opposite direction. The defendants repeatedly rammed the victim’s car at high speed from behind, causing it to overturn. The collision ultimately led to the victim’s death.
