KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: Engr. Hussam Al-Ateeqi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Military Facilities Engineering, affirmed on Wednesday the Ministry of Defense's commitment to adopting top engineering practices and developing infrastructure according to the latest standards. This approach, he noted, will support future projects and contribute to achieving sustainable development in the region.
Al-Ateeqi's remarks followed the Ministry's participation in the Gulf Forum for Sustainable Development and Project Management, held on Tuesday. The forum saw the attendance of several government agencies, private sector representatives, and delegates from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
In a press statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, represented by the Facilities Engineering Sector, the Ministry emphasized that its participation in the forum aligns with its goals of fostering joint cooperation and exchanging expertise in development and engineering management. The Ministry highlighted its ongoing efforts to modernize military facilities and enhance the efficiency of engineering projects, ensuring they keep pace with global advancements and support the country’s strategic objectives for sustainable development.
