KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The Ministry of Defense, through its military, administrative, and financial bodies, has participated in a nationwide field campaign aimed at removing encroachments and violations on state property in Kuwait’s desert areas. The campaign, which started on 7 October, spans the country from north to south and is focused on regulating the use of desert lands.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense confirmed its involvement as part of national efforts to enforce the law and protect public lands. The initiative is being carried out in cooperation with several government bodies, including the Ministry of Interior, the Public Environment Authority, the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, and the Kuwait Municipality. The campaign emphasizes joint efforts between government agencies to safeguard state property and combat illegal activities.
The Ministry of Defense has deployed teams and provided necessary equipment, including field crews from the Supply and Provisioning Authority and Military Facilities Engineering. Their contributions are focused on removing unlicensed camps and waste, which have been identified as violations of state property.
