KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: National Assembly Secretary MP Osama Al-Shaheen recently met with Chairman of the Central Committee at Kuwait Democratic Forum (KDF) Bandar Al-Khairan and Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Constitutional Movement (ICM) Esraa Al-Maatouq. During the meeting, Al-Shaheen honored the two groups and expressed his gratitude for the efforts they exerted in supporting the Palestinian cause; including the organization of the forum entitled, ‘Palestine and Sustainability,’ in coordination with the concerned entities and civil society organizations. He called on the government to implement the recommendations presented in the special session on supporting Palestine; such as unifying efforts to support the issue, allowing Palestinian teachers in Kuwait to bring their spouses and children under family visas, allowing the injured Palestinians to undergo treatment in Kuwaiti hospitals, and filing a case against the Zionist entity.

He asserted it is embarrassing to see South Africa filing a case against the Zionist entity at the International Criminal Court, while the Arab and Muslim countries have yet to take such a step. He urged the Arab and Muslim governments to take the necessary measures to match the actions taken by Arab and Muslim peoples.
