KUWAIT CITY, June 19: Kuwait disabled fencing team delegation departed for Cairo, Egypt, to commence a training camp scheduled until July 1. This preparation is in anticipation of their participation in the World Fencing Championships set to take place in Warsaw, Poland, from July 2 to 8.

The championship will feature 155 athletes from 45 countries competing across fencing disciplines including epee and saber, with events in men's singles, women's singles, and men's team categories.

Representing the team is Saad Al-Ajmi as president, supported by administrators Saad Al-Hajri and Basma Al-Haif, along with Coach Khaled Al-Sarraf and a squad of six players: Sulaiman Al-Tamimi, Kholoud Al-Mutairi, Aisha Matar, Fahad Al-Bastaki, Fahad Al-Ansari, and Salem Saleh.

Saad Al-Ajmi emphasized that the Cairo training camp will focus on intensive sessions aimed at achieving peak performance readiness for the upcoming challenges.
