KUWAIT CITY, Oct 30: The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior has issued a directive to the Ministry of Education emphasizing the need for all public and private institutions to display the Kuwaiti flag per official specifications. The initiative aims to uphold the flag’s integrity and strengthen national identity by removing any flags that do not meet these standards. The directive follows multiple reports highlighting violations in how the flag is displayed on various buildings and at events, with some displays detracting from the flag’s official appearance and symbolism. The Public Relations and Security Media Department has clarified that this measure is intended to guide concerned entities in adhering to the correct specifications for displaying the Kuwaiti flag, ensuring its respectful and proper representation.
