KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4: Al-Jahra Hospital witnessed a disturbing incident when a young man assaulted his elderly mother inside the hospital. A Bedoun intervened to stop the assault, only to be attacked himself, resulting in a broken nose.
According to a security source, the public relations department at Al-Jahra Hospital reported an assault inside the hospital. Security personnel responded to the report and, upon investigation, discovered that a young man had entered the hospital with his mother and, for unknown reasons, began beating her. When a bedoun intervened to stop the young man, he was struck in the face, leading to his injury.
The perpetrator fled the scene, leaving his mother injured. Security personnel are now using camera footage to identify the suspect and have instructed detectives to arrest him on felony charges due to the severity of the injury inflicted on the resident.
