KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: The General Traffic Department has warned ATV (all-terrain- vehicle) riders against using highways because of the danger it poses to both the riders and other road users. The use of these vehicles has been linked to traffic accidents. A video shared by the General Traffic Department on its X platform showed several of these vehicles being seized and taken to the impound garage belonging to the Ministry of Interior. The department also stated that an extensive campaign was carried out in the Bneid Al-Gar area, during which 18 ATVs were seized. Two minors were arrested for driving without a license and were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution. This is in addition to issuing 21 traffic violations.
