WASHINGTON, Jan 20, (Agencies): In the midst of a snowstorm in Iowa, Dr Chase Brown showcased his ingenious way of reaching the hospital to assist with a delivery. On Jan 12, as the snowflakes swirled, Dr Brown hopped on an ATV and skillfully navigated the wintry conditions to reach Shenandoah Medical Center just in time for the birth of a baby girl named Birkley.

The Shenandoah Medical Center proudly shared the remarkable tale on their official Facebook page, posting a photo of Dr Brown's ATV parked in the lot. Expressing gratitude for his dedication, they acknowledged the unique and fun story that the proud new parents would have to share for years to come.

The extraordinary medical journey unfolded when Krystal Gardner went into labor on that chilly January morning. Dr Brown, describing his adventurous trek, mentioned hitting snow drifts at 20 mph, with snow flying in all directions. Determined to reach his destination, he pressed on through the wintry landscape, unfazed by the challenges.

Dr Brown's choice of transportation, the ATV, proved to be a wise investment made when he first started working in the area. Reflecting on its versatility, he quipped, "Floods, rain, storms. Sure better than taking a horse into town, right?"

This wasn't the first time Dr. Brown had utilized his trusty ATV for such a purpose. The birth of Birkley marked the third delivery where he had traversed the elements on his unconventional but reliable vehicle. Despite the snowstorm and challenging conditions, the dedicated doctor ensured that he, along with the rest of the medical staff, was there for the special moment.
