KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10: Abdullah Al-Sharbatly, the Saudi rider, showcased remarkable prowess by clinching two significant victories in "The Stadium" International Show Jumping Championship. He asserted his dominance in the three-star championship held on Marina Beach, engaging in fierce competition with riders from Kuwait, Italy, and Bahrain. The event, sponsored by Kuwait International Bank, witnessed a display of equestrian skill and determination.

In the tournament's fifth round, set at a height of 145 cm on the second day, Al-Sharbatly secured the top spot with a flawless performance. Clocking in at 72.78 seconds, he was the sole rider to navigate the obstacles without incurring penalty points and adhered to the designated time. Following closely were distinguished riders Abdullah Al-Awadi (Kuwait), Khaled Al-Mabti (Saudi Arabia), and Abdullah Al-Roudhan, along with Ghazi Al-Jariwi, Fawaz Rashed, and Ali Al-Kharafi.

Al-Sharbatly continued his winning streak by claiming first place in the second half of the competition at a height of 140 cm, registering an impressive time of 23.88 seconds. His skilled performance outshone competitors, including knights Ali Al-Kharafi, Abdullah Al-Roudhan, Anaz Al-Anaz, and Ghazi Al-Jariwi.

Kuwaiti jockey Ali Al-Kharafi also secured a victory, claiming first place at a height of 130 cm.The triumphant riders were honored in a ceremony attended by His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Fahd, President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation, Masoud Johar Hayat, President of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, and Ahmed Suleiman Al-Hazami, CEO of SAFX.
