KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: In the midst of intense competition and widespread participation, the third edition of the Kuwaiti Dressage League Championship concluded at the Hunting and Equestrian Club track in the Subhan area. The event, held under the auspices of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation and organized by the Dressage Horse Dressage Committee led by Sheikha Fajr Al-Sabah, saw the curtain fall on a series of thrilling competitions.
In the beginner level, rider Abdullah Al-Amer secured the top spot, showcasing remarkable success, with Abdulrahman Al-Hawqal and Talal Al-Hazeem following closely. Moving on to the basic level, jockey Hussein Al-Kharafi claimed first place, outshining competitors Fadwa Al-Ajeel and Maryam Khaled. Meanwhile, at the training level, jockey Fatima Al-Qadiri emerged victorious, with Talal Al-Hazeem and Afnan Al-Sulaiman securing the second and third positions, respectively.
The champions were honored in a ceremony presided over by Sheikha Fajr Al-Sabah and the Assistant Secretary at the Khalil Assad Hunting and Equestrian Club.
The Dressage Committee, led by Sheikha Fajr Al-Sabah, boasts a lineup of distinguished members, including international dressage coach and technical officer Amber Den Heer, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Abdullah Al-Amer, Alaa Al-Sultan, Nasiba Al-Maousherji, and Dana Pursley. The British International Championship was officiated by judge Ruth Galasco.
