KUWAIT CITY Aug 14: The reckless stunts and "drifting" performed by a driver on one of the roads in Saad Al-Abdullah City, endangering his life and the lives of others, ultimately led to his arrest and referral to traffic court.

A security source stated that the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report from residents, complaining about a reckless driver who was disturbing and terrorizing the neighborhood with the loud noise from his vehicle's exhaust. The driver was reportedly showing off at the area’s roundabouts, using two vehicles to block the roundabout so he could indulge in his dangerous hobby, without any regard for the traffic congestion and road obstruction he was causing.

The source added that security officers quickly responded to the scene, blocked the road to stop the driver, and apprehended him. It was discovered that the vehicle had no license plates, as the driver had intentionally concealed them inside the car. The vehicle was subsequently towed and impounded, and the violator was taken to a temporary detention facility. His case has been referred to traffic court for legal action.
