KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: In an important step towards tightening control over the phenomenon of reckless driving in a manner that would preserve lives by not putting the lives of other motorists in danger, the General Traffic Department, headed by Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, has started using drone technology to pursue reckless drivers, monitor them and determine their places of residence in order to seize them later, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a statement issued by the General Traffic Department, the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior reported the presence of reckless motorists in Wafra area. The traffic investigation officers used the drones and managed to arrest three reckless motorists whose vehicles were impounded.
