KUWAIT CITY, March 3: Two girls were arrested in Salmiya for drunken driving and insulting a police officer on duty, reports Al-Rai daily. According to a security source, policemen were patrolling Salmiya area when they noticed two girls driving recklessly. After ordering them to pull over, one of the policemen approached the girls to ask them for their civil ID and other official documents. He then noticed the disoriented state of the two girls and detected the smell of liquor from them. One of the girls started humiliating the policeman when he tried to make them sit inside the patrol vehicle. A case was later filed against her for insulting a policeman on duty. The two girls have been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
