Drunk House Driver Caught by Sponsor, Set for Deportation and Ban

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 11: A house driver has been detained at the Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential Area Police Station, pending deportation and a re-entry ban, after his sponsor caught him in a severely intoxicated state. According to a security source, the incident unfolded when a 54-year-old Kuwaiti citizen, reported to the Ministry of Interior’s operations center that he had asked his driver to take him to a cooperative society at noon. However, the driver emerged from his room in an abnormal condition, visibly under the influence of alcohol.

The source stated that a patrol unit was immediately dispatched to the scene, where they arrested the driver and took him into custody. After verifying that the driver had no prior legal issues that would prevent his deportation, authorities decided to proceed with his deportation and impose a re-entry ban. The driver remains detained at the police station until the necessary procedures are completed.
