Dust Wave Sweeps Across Kuwait, Bringing Sharp Temperature Drop

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 15: The Meteorology Department has announced that Kuwait is currently experiencing a dust wave caused by the extension of a high-pressure system, accompanied by a cold air mass and strong northwesterly winds exceeding 60 km/h. These conditions have reduced horizontal visibility to less than 1,000 meters in some areas and caused sea waves to rise over 6 feet.

Weather forecaster Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi revealed that weather conditions are expected to gradually improve this evening, with dust subsiding overnight. However, temperatures are predicted to drop significantly, reaching below 3 degrees Celsius in agricultural and desert areas, with frost potentially forming in some locations.

Al-Qarawi urged citizens and residents to exercise caution while driving and to avoid marine activities during this period to ensure safety.
