Nabila Al-Ali, the Secretary of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: The Kuwait Equestrian Federation, under the leadership of Masoud Johar Hayat, is gearing up for the commencement of the third edition of the local equestrian league. With the first round scheduled to kick off this Friday, local club riders are set to showcase their skills on the track.

Nabila Al-Ali, the Secretary of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, expressed confidence in the federation's readiness for the championship. The inaugural round will take place at the Al-Masila Club track in the Subhan area. Al-Ali highlighted the exceptional preparation demonstrated by riders from local clubs, anticipating a season marked by intense competition among riders vying for top positions.

She further explained that each league round spans two consecutive days, and the championship title goes to the rider accumulating the highest points by the tournament's conclusion. The competitions encompass categories for professionals, amateurs, and juniors.

Notably, Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi, representing the Kuwait Equestrian Club, secured the title in the last two league editions. His successful recovery and recent victories in foreign tournaments, including the "Jahez" International Show Jumping Championship, position him as a formidable contender for the upcoming title. The championship event was a "three-star" category competition organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation.
