KUWAIT CITY, April 17: The Ministry of Education (MoE) successfully conducted a mock evacuation drill on Thursday at its headquarters, in coordination with relevant security and safety agencies.

In a press statement, the Ministry explained that the drill was part of ongoing efforts to enhance employee preparedness, raise awareness on safety protocols, and ensure swift and effective responses during emergencies. The simulation followed an approved emergency scenario, with the building evacuated under the direct supervision of the ministry's safety team and in coordination with specialized authorities.

The exercise aimed to evaluate the efficiency of emergency plans and foster a safety-focused institutional culture. It also demonstrated high levels of organization and collaboration among various teams.

Participating entities included the Civil Defense Department at the Ministry of Interior, the General Directorate of Rescue, the Traffic and Public Security Departments, emergency medical teams from the Ministry of Health, and the General Fire Force.

The Ministry confirmed that similar drills will continue to be carried out periodically across its various sectors to maintain a safe and responsive work environment.
