KUWAIT CITY, May 3: There are almost 28,000 residence violators residing at 34 shelters waiting for repatriation. The representatives of residence violators countries have promised Kuwait Foreign Ministry to accelerate the procedures for evacuating their citizens. .
Informed sources revealed that Egypt and Bangladesh have asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for details of the numbers of violators, their ages, children, women, pregnant women, patients, the elderly and people with disabilities, in order to prepare quarantine facilities for them as soon as they arrive in the their respective countries.
Countries like Egypt and Bangladesh procedures are proceeding in positive way and that the majority of countries have indicated that they will start evacuating their nationals as soon as the quarantines are equipped with all necessary as per their countries health requirements.
Some countries are delaying their to accept heir nationals on the pretext of the inability of the health system to handle large number of arrivals or the absence of quarantine facilitates or some other excuses. Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working hard and constantly following up to reach a final and urgent agreement to end this dilemma where talks are held almost on daily basis and the meetings with the ambassadors of those countries to urge them to start the process of evacuating their fellow citizens this month.
The sources concluded that the Kuwait authorities provide all services in the shelters for violators as per the requirement of WHO to keep them safe from coronavirus infection.
There are around 28,000 residence violators in 34 shelters discussions are still underway to with their countries to repatriate them and open the airspace for their evacuation this month.
