KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: An Egyptian elevator maintenance technician tragically died after falling from the third floor of a house in the Rumaithiya area while on the job.
Reports indicate that a co-worker alerted the Ministry of Interior’s operations about the accident. Security personnel and ambulances quickly responded to the scene, where they found that the technician, a man in his forties, had fallen into the elevator pit while working on the elevator. He sustained multiple fractures and severe bleeding, which ultimately led to his death.
Paramedics confirmed the technician’s death and notified the forensic department and forensic doctor, who ordered the body to be transferred. Security personnel have since launched an investigation into the incident and are interviewing the technician’s colleagues.
