KUWAIT CITY, June 24:The Court of Cassation has upheld the ruling of a lower court, which sentenced an Egyptian to five years in prison, followed by deportation for inciting others to join the ISIS and to fight along with its fighters. Case files indicate that the defendant committed the abovementioned crimes through his supervision of chat groups on Telegram and sending songs and video clips. This is in addition to encouraging a juvenile in a mosque in Salmiya to join ISIS. During investigations, the accused confirmed his belief in ISIS’ idea of declaring others infidels, even if they are Muslims.
