KUWAIT CITY, March 13 : The Council of Ministers convened its weekly meeting today, Thursday, under the chairmanship of Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. During the session, the Council approved a three-day holiday for all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, provided that the first day of Eid falls on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

In this case, official work will resume on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. However, if Eid al-Fitr is confirmed to begin on Monday, March 31, 2025, a five-day holiday will be observed. The break will commence on Sunday, March 30, 2025, marking the completion of Ramadan, followed by a holiday on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work will then resume on Sunday, April 6, 2025. For institutions with essential services or a special nature of work, their holiday schedule will be determined by the relevant authorities, ensuring the continuity of public services and the public interest. (KUNA)
