KUWAIT CITY, Aug 21: The Capital Investigations Department has initiated a search for two unidentified individuals who stole 600 dinars from an elderly Kuwaiti citizen after deceiving him about a flat tire. The incident has been reported at Al-Salihiya Police Station and classified as a misdemeanor. The citizen's vehicle has been sent to the Criminal Evidence Department for fingerprint analysis.
According to a security source, the 63-year-old citizen reported that while he was parking his car in a public lot, an unknown person knocked on his window and informed him that his tire was flat. As he got out to inspect the tire, another person took the opportunity to open the door next to the driver's seat and steal 600 dinars that he had recently withdrawn from an ATM at a National Bank in Al-Salihiya.
