KUWAIT CITY, April 6: Female inspectors from the Prison Security Department of the General Administration of Correctional Institutions foiled an attempt by an elderly woman to smuggle two mobile phones and two chargers during a visit to her son at the Central Prison. According to security sources, the female inspectors from the Women’s Inspection Section grew suspicious of the elderly woman when she approached the inspection area to visit her son and claimed that she was unable to stand during the inspection. However, the inspectors insisted on conducting a thorough search, which led to the discovery of two mobile phones and two chargers in her possession. The elderly woman was referred to the investigative authorities.
