New record set as electrical loads hit over 17,000 megawatts.

KUWAIT CITY, July 11: The electrical load index surged today, surpassing the 17,000-megawatt threshold for the first time and exceeding last year's peak by over 100 megawatts. This record-setting load is attributed to the maximum temperature soaring to 51 degrees Celsius.

Despite this unprecedented demand, sources from the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy assured Al-Rai that the electrical network remains stable. They urged consumers to optimize their energy use to maintain this stability.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Eng. Maha Al-Asousi, along with other ministry officials, closely monitored the situation from the main control center to oversee the status of electrical loads and the operation of production units.

Confirming the report by Al-Rai, the Ministry of Electricity and Water announced a new peak load of 17,120 megawatts at precisely 2:30 PM. The Ministry expressed gratitude to all workers in the vital sectors responsible for electrical energy production, networks, and control centers, who work tirelessly around the clock to ensure a continuous power supply.
