NEW YORK, June 25: Renowned entrepreneur Elon Musk has confirmed the birth of his 12th child earlier this year with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, marking their third child together. Musk, 52, clarified to Page Six that while the news wasn't a "secret," he chose not to issue a formal statement on the birth, deeming it unnecessary.
In response to claims of secrecy, Musk emphasized that family and friends were aware of the addition and debunked any notions of clandestine affairs. The couple has refrained from disclosing the name or gender of the newborn.
This latest addition joins Musk's two children with Zilis, who serves as the executive of his brain-computer interface company, Neuralink. The news surfaced through a Bloomberg article that explored Musk's perspectives on birth rates and family life.
In July 2022, reports emerged of Musk welcoming twins with Zilis, born in November 2021. Musk's biographer, Walter Isaacson, later confirmed the birth of a third child, named Techno Mechanius. Musk's first child, X Æ A-Xii, with musician Grimes, was born in 2020, followed by a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, in December 2021.
Musk's familial history includes marriages to Canadian author Justine Wilson, resulting in the birth of their first son, Nevada Alexander Musk, followed by twins and triplets. Tragically, their firstborn succumbed to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
In a significant development, Musk and Wilson's teenage daughter recently obtained a legal name and gender change, expressing her desire to sever ties with Musk.
Despite his expansive family, Musk has voiced concerns over declining birth rates, highlighting their potential implications for civilization's future. He maintains that addressing population decline is paramount for societal stability, advocating for larger families to mitigate the risk of underpopulation.
Musk's commentary on family dynamics and population trends underscores his multifaceted persona, from business magnate to family man and societal commentator.
