Embassy of India in Kuwait mourns passing of former PM Singh, opens condolence book

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Embassy of India in Kuwait has expressed its deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, who died on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in New Delhi. Dr. Singh, who served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, was a widely respected statesman and economist. The Government of India has declared seven days of national mourning from December 26, 2024, to January 1, 2025, to honor his legacy. In tribute to the late leader, the Indian Embassy will open a condolence book at its premises in the Diplomatic Enclave, Daeya Area, Block 5, Aden Street, on Monday, December 30, and Tuesday, December 31, 2024. The book will be available for signing from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on both days.
