KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25, (Agencies): Prominent producer and artist Bassam Abdulameer is currently preparing for several new TV dramas, some set for the upcoming Ramadan season and others for seasonal releases. Additionally, he is embarking on a cinematic production for the very first time, collaborating with writer Mohammed Anwar on a project called "End of Parting."

Abdulameer expressed his excitement about the project, saying, "I am currently shooting a new TV drama for the next Ramadan season, titled 'End of Parting,' in collaboration with 'Sumood Production.' I am also returning to acting after a five-year hiatus, specifically since my last appearance in 'Ma'a Hissa Qalam' alongside the great Haya Al-Fahad."

He further explained that "End of Parting," written by Noor Al-Badri, is directed by Bahraini filmmaker Hussein Al-Halibi and features a stellar cast, including Ibrahim Al-Harbi, Hamad Al-Omani, Fatima Al-Tabakh, Noor Al-Sheikh from Bahrain, and Fawaz Abdulah. The series explores various social issues, including divorce and its negative impact on children, addressing themes that will resonate with the audience.

Abdulameer elaborated on the series, stating, "The show encompasses multiple storylines, including a comedic plot featuring both me and actress Fawz Abdulah in situational comedy. There is also a romantic storyline between Hamad Al-Omani and Noor Al-Sheikh. The series touches upon many dramatic arcs, and I hope it garners the admiration and support of the audience."

He revealed that the production of "End of Parting" involved a professional team from Egypt, led by the accomplished cinematographer Mohamed Fawzy, and the musical score composed by Maestro Ibrahim Shamil. Various post-production aspects, including color correction and graphics, were executed in Egypt.

Regarding the absence of his two sons, Fahad and Talal, from the series, Abdulameer clarified, "It's not necessary for my sons to be in every project we produce. Their roles are selected based on suitability, and in 'End of Parting,' there were no suitable roles for them."

In addition to his TV and cinematic ventures, Abdulameer mentioned that he will soon be entering the world of cinema production with a significant project in collaboration with talented writer Mohammed Anwar, promising an exciting surprise for the audience.

He concluded by discussing his theatrical work, noting that he has left this realm to his sons, as they are deeply interested in it. However, they recently produced the play "Sing" in collaboration with "Loop Production," featuring artists Hiba Al-Dari and Nawaf Al-Ali.

It's worth mentioning that Bassam Abdulameer, known as the "Architect of Gulf Drama," is recognized for his significant contributions to Gulf and Arab television and film productions. His works have achieved high viewership and success when screened on the big screen. Furthermore, he has nurtured and provided opportunities for young talents in various fields, including writing, directing, and acting.
