KUWAIT CITY, July 9: The Environment Public Authority (EPA) has announced the formation of a team to review the academic certificates of its employees, including both citizens and expats,reports Al-Rai daily. In a statement, the authority indicated that in response to a letter from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) regarding the examination of educational certificates, the acting Director General of the Public Environment Authority, Eng. Samira Mohammad Al-Kandari, has issued a decision to form a team. This team will sort and examine the post-secondary educational certificates of employees who have obtained their academic qualifications from January 1, 2000, to the present.

Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities has urged anyone with evidence of “purchasing a certificate” to come forward and submit it so that the necessary legal actions can be taken. The statement further mentioned that the team will verify the authenticity of academic certificates and review them based on the principles and standards set by higher education authorities. Upon completing the review, the team will submit a detailed report on their findings and audit results to the Civil Service Commission.
