KUWAIT CITY, June 12: The Criminal Court held its second session for the trial of Third Constituency candidate and former MP Saadoun Hammad, three campaign workers and two female citizens in a vote-buying case. The court, headed by Judge Fawzan Al-Anjari, decided to postpone the hearing until Oct 10 for pleading. In the last session, the court questioned Hammad about the charge of mediating to buy votes in his favor, three workers in his campaign about the charge of helping him buy votes, a female citizen for selling her vote for KD1,000 and another female citizen about helping to buy votes by renting her house for this purpose. All of them denied the charges.
