KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Abdullah Mishari Al-Awadhi of Mesillah Club has been crowned the champion of the Mesillah Club Show Jumping Championship, held at the Mesillah Club Equestrian Track in Subhan.

Al-Awadhi secured first place in the main round, jumping at a height of 135 cm. He was followed by riders Abdulrahman Al-Fuzai, Fawaz Al-Subaie, Nick Channing, and Ghazi Al-Jariwi. The awards were presented by the club’s coach, Bahraini international Sayed Adnan Al-Alawi, alongside Polish coach Camilla Kudara.

The championship saw strong attendance, with Mesillah Club Chairman Bader Tariq Al-Mailem and Al-Sakab Club Chairman Mohammed Tariq Al-Mailem among the many spectators filling the stands for this inaugural event of the current sports season.

Coach Adnan Al-Alawi noted, "The club's track was meticulously prepared and maintained for a full month before the championship, which positively influenced the riders' performance. The event was not only a sporting success but also a well-organized one, thanks to the enthusiastic audience."

He also shared that a comprehensive plan for the new season was implemented successfully right after last season ended, resulting in over 95% of the club's riders completing clean rounds without errors. Al-Alawi praised the contributions of Polish coach Camilla, who continues her successful tenure at Mesillah Club for a second consecutive season.

A total of 45 riders from Mesillah Club participated in the tournament, which boasts more than 120 registered members. The judging committee was headed by Kuwaiti referee Dalal Al-Obaid, with support from Abdulaziz Al-Mashouti, Ibtisam Al-Arouri, Anwar Pasha, and Abdulaziz Al-Ajil. The course designer, Talal Al-Saeed, along with field referee Badr Al-Haifi and Dr. Yahya Al-Hadban, also contributed to the smooth running of the warm-up field.
