Excitement builds as the Mesillah Show Jumping Championship starts

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: The Mesillah Club Show Jumping Championship kicks off at 8:30 this morning, with riders from local clubs competing at the Mesillah Club Equestrian Track in the Subhan area.

The competition will feature events at heights of 70-80 cm, 90 cm, 105 cm, 115 cm, and 125 cm, culminating in the main round at a height of 130-135 cm. A total of 3,000 dinars in prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Mesillah Equestrian Club Chairman Bader Tariq Al-Mailem stated, "Kuwaiti equestrianism is continuously evolving, and we are optimistic about the performance of our riders this season (2024-2025) following their external training. We are nurturing a new generation of young riders by providing them with the ideal environment for training and development to achieve higher levels. We encourage show-jumping fans to visit the club and witness the impressive skills of our riders."

Al-Mailem further highlighted that local championships, held at various club tracks, offer a competitive atmosphere filled with excitement. He praised the dedication of the judges, trainers, and administrators working behind the scenes to advance and develop the sport of equestrianism in Kuwait.
