KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: Today marks the commencement of the Warba Bank Turf Football League competitions, part of the third Higher Education Sports Games. Fourteen government and private educational institutions are participating, divided into four groups. Groups one and two consist of three teams each, while groups four and five have four teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, which will follow a knockout format.

The action kicks off at 5:15 in the first round of the second group, where the Gulf University team will face off against Ali Sabah Al-Salem Military College. At 7:00, the Kuwait International Law College will take on the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in the first group.

Simultaneously, the preliminary round of the Girls' Futsal League will conclude with two matches. At 5:30, Kuwait University clashes with the American University in the first group, followed by the Kuwait College of Science and Technology meeting the Gulf University for Science and Technology at 6:30.

The Gulf University of Science and Technology's padel courts will host the final match of the Warba Padel League for Girls today. At 7:00, the Gulf University of Science and Technology faces off against the Academy, following a 6:00 third-place match between the Kuwait College of Science and Technology and the International University of Science.
