KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: A 36-year-old Kuwaiti citizen has filed a complaint with the Jahra Police Station, accusing an expatriate working as an accountant in his restaurant chain of embezzling 1,790 dinars. The case, filed under the title ‘Breach of Trust,’ details how the complainant discovered the accountant had embezzled the money last Tuesday. The citizen added he attempted to contact the suspect several times but to no avail. The Jahra Police Station investigator has ordered the suspect’s name be placed on the travel ban and a search and arrest warrant has been issued against him. According to reports, the man has changed his place of residence ‘to avoid arrest’.
