KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: Authorities are investigating a case of theft after an expatriate reported that his life savings, intended for transfer to his family, had been stolen. The complainant, who filed the report at a local police station, alleged that 700 Kuwaiti dinars had disappeared from his residence while he was away. Upon confronting his roommate, the accused denied any knowledge of the missing funds. A security source stated that the accused has been summoned for questioning and the case has been referred to the General Department of Criminal Investigations for further inquiry. Investigators are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
