KUWAIT CITY, Sep 5: Farwaniya police patrols arrested an expatriate found in possession of a large quantity of locally distilled alcohol. According to a security source, officers became suspicious of the individual while he was riding a bus during a routine patrol. Upon inspecting the bus, they discovered 400 bottles of locally made alcohol. The expatriate admitted that the alcohol was with the intent to sell.
The suspect was handed over to the General Department for Drug Control to determine whether he was producing the alcohol himself or purchasing it from another source. Following the investigation, he will be referred for administrative deportation, and his name will be added to the list of individuals banned from re-entering Kuwait.
