Expat Denied Work Visa for Indecent Dress and Behavior at Kuwait Embassy

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The Kuwaiti embassy in an Arab country refused to approve a work visa for an expatriate seeking work under Article 18 due to her inappropriate dress and behavior during a visit to the embassy.

According to a security source, the embassy sent an official letter detailing the incident to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. The letter stated that the work permit was not approved because the expatriate entered the embassy in attire and exhibited conduct deemed indecent.

The Ministry approved the embassy's recommendation, resulting in the expatriate's work permit being canceled and her inclusion on the list of individuals banned from entering Kuwait. This action underscores the importance of maintaining appropriate conduct in diplomatic settings.
