KUWAIT CITY, June 5: The Public Prosecution detained a resident on Wednesday for allegedly joining an outlawed group and plotting a hostile act against a foreign state. Additionally, the expatriate faces accusations of training in the illicit production and use of explosives, violating “the Emirate Status,” maintaining social media ties with the outlawed group, and disseminating materials promoting its ideology.
Furthermore, the individual is charged with recruiting foreign fighters, providing explosives training, and conducting firearms training at shooting ranges. Following interrogation, the suspect confessed to the charges. The case is under investigation. (KUNA)
